Didn’t Make the Cut: Reinstated by Royal Decree
· by Roy Edlund
A few days ago I showed you a photo that didn’t make the 2027 calendar. The July Photo That Looks Like January.
I loved it, but I reluctantly had to cut it.
Well, so many of you loved that photo when I posted it and Sandie, who outranks all of us, let me know she liked it better than my choice.
So, when the people and the Queen agree, a king knows when to yield.
When I uploaded the calendar to the printer, I made a last-minute switch and the one that didn’t make the cut... made the cut.
It’s in my 2027 calendar now, as a bonus print, right where it belongs.
Funny how that works.
Sometimes the photo you were sure you had to let go is the one everybody else was waiting to see.
Love from here. ❤️
Prints of the photos in this post are available in the Beach Bum Gallery on paper, canvas and metal.
