Beach Bum Bracelet

One day, as I was inventing color combos for my Mermaid Tail bracelets, I asked my very creative husband, theOBXBeachBum, what he thought of my newest creation. He was very excited and exclaimed, "I want one of those in all the colors!" That's when the BeachBum Bracelet was born!

This bracelet has 16 coastal colors of 1mm hemp cord fishtail braided into a band that is beach friendly, comfortable and fun to wear.

The braid is 1/2 inch wide and a 1/4 inch thick and comes in 2 adjustable lengths to fit most every wrist in the house.

Medium for wrists larger than 5.5 inches (aquamarine ties) Large for wrists larger than 6.5 inches (burgundy ties) Each bracelet is hand-crafted by me, Mrs.Bum, and includes a shell charm with my signature seagull.

If you leave your bracelet on while you take a dip in the ocean, no worries! But I have found that the hemp should thoroughly dry before trying to remove your bracelet so that the cords will slip easily through the slip knot. And be sure to avoid long exposures to water to help your bracelet last longer.

Dolphin Dance Bracelet

A perfect complement to any summer attire, these twisted macramé bracelets were inspired by sightings of dolphins leaping and dancing off the coast of the Outer Banks. Four large 3/8-inch recycled glass beads add the touch of sparkle that makes each piece beautifully playful.

The teal and seafoam green hemp sports dazzling royal blue beads. The natural and aquamarine hemp is ornamented with light green beads, the combination reminding me of young sea oats growing on the dunes near the lapping ocean. Burgundy and dusty pink hemp with clear beads adds a bit of colorful fun to any wrist. Gray and light blue hemp is adorned with misty gray-blue beads, much like the stormy seas when the sun can't find its way through the clouds. And the brown and natural hemp has medium blue beads like our beloved sand and sea. The bracelets are adjustable to fit on nearly every adult-sized wrist. The bracelets open to about 9 inches, then pull the ties through the slip knot to tighten to whatever tightness is most comfortable for you. The bracelets close fully to about 6 inches.

I've braided them slim enough, about 3/8"wide, to be simple yet elegant if you want to wear just your favorite one, or you could mix and match two or more to make a look that fits your creative style. Choose from 6 different beachy color combinations including Morning Sky, Beach, Ocean, Sunrise, Coral Reef, and Sea Oats. The Mermaid Tail bracelets are braided with 1mm hemp cord and are adjustable to fit wrists as small as 6 inches. The bracelet opens up to 9 inches to slip your hand in, then pull the strings and adjust the bracelet to fit perfectly on your wrist.

That's the way I felt when I created this delicate bracelet, and I want to pass that dreamy feeling on to you. Each day that you wear it can take you back to those relaxing times when the sun was your only clock and you felt as one with the seaside.

I’ve woven together two colors of 1mm beach friendly hemp cord into this simple, but elegant, macramé bracelet. The first option has swirling stormy gray hemp surrounded by a natural spindrift color and adorned with a light blue recycled glass bead. In the second bracelet, the twisting teal is accented with foamy green and a clear recycled glass bead. The third option has aquamarine hemp swirls, surrounded by natural beach hemp and adorned with a seaglass green recycled glass bead.

The bracelets open up to 9″ around so that your hand can slip in, then pull the ties and the slip knot lets you adjust the size to fit any wrist bigger than 5″.

A customer saw a bracelet that Roy was wearing and requested that I offer them in my collection to be used for stacking. I hadn't realized before that stacking bracelets is a real art! It's creating a masterpiece on your wrists with different textures and colors. :) These no-frills, macrame bracelets are created from 2mm hemp cord and come in 7 beautiful beach colors. They can be worn alone or stacked with your favorite bracelet combos! The stackers measure 3/8" wide.
