The OBX Beach Bum

The earth is back on its axis.

· by Roy Edlund

The earth is back on its axis.

Well, the earth is back on its axis, I'm truly sorry about that.

With Sandie off to the Yukon, my world went all off kilter and as a consequence, it turns out, the world went wonky this past week.

I left early to get to the RDU airport on time, and arrived with a few minutes to spare.

When I was standing in the concourse at RDU checking to see where I would go to pick up Sandie. A woman with a friendly smile approached me, I thought because I looked lost, but it was because she follows me here on facebook.

We had a very nice conversation, even took a few selfies, you know, to prove she actually met this celebrity, and to send it to her husband, who was going to be so jealous. :)

Sandie was up all night on her flight and a bit discombobulated. It put me in a panic because she didn't seem all that happy to be home.

It turns out I had nothing to worry about, she still loves me, so the world is back on its axis.

Again I apologize for the turbulence.

Everything should get back to normal soon. It is at my house anyway.

I've turned off the seatbelt sign.

Love from here. ❤️
